Basically a list of makeup/skincare things that I have been enjoying.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – LOL this took me a looooong while to try. I was ‘this’ close to purchasing a bottle a few years ago when I visited the counter in Amsterdam. But I wasn’t sure about the color that got matched to me so I left empty handed. I have drafted a review on my phone of this foundation so I won’t talk too much about this, I just want to say that I love love love this foundation. Kind of regretting not buying it sooner but the ship has sailed. At least I tried it now and I’m very happy about pretty much everything about it.

Chanel La Base Mascara Primer – I saw this product being applied on my friend ( check her insta and blog out 🙂 ) when she visited Eindhoven. And I was quite intrigued. The lady from Chanel counter said this primer will coat the lashes with some kind of treatment coat so your mascara won’t dry out your lashes too much. After hearing that, I was hella curious. So I bought one on sale to try out. I’m very happy that at least removing my waterproof mascara is multiple times easier than usual without altering the performance of the mascara. I can only use waterproof mascaras or else I will get racoon eyes by lunch time. So I’m very happy that this actually works to stress my lashes less. I might try a cheaper alternative once I run out.

Care Silk & Smooth Shower Foam – I was looking for a life hack for when I’m way too lazy to apply body lotion after showering. Especially when it’s blistering hot outside, I just don’t have the patience to sit and lubricate my body. Also I shower more frequently due to sweating more. On top of that, I have been working out daily which also mean I shower more often. So I was looking for a moisturizing shower gel that doesn’t leave my skin parched after showering. I bought this shower foam at the supermarket and have been pleased with everything about it. The foam is very rich and pleasant to smear on my body. The scent is soft but lingers quite a while so I smell like I just showered for quite some time. And yes it does leave my skin less dry than if I use a normal shower gel. I might buy 5 after this one runs out just to have back-ups hahahahaha.

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel – First of all, this cleanser smells divine. I’m usually easily bored with scents because when I use something daily, I just prefer non scented one so I wont’t get sick of using it. When I got bored by the scent, I will just loathe using the product no matter how great it is. Sad but true. This cleanser includes both AHA and BHA which means its chemically exfoliating your skin. But since it’s a cleanser, I don’t think it’s as potent or effective as a toner or serum. But I do really enjoy using it as my 2nd cleanse. I do see the improvement on my skin. It’s smoother than prior having this on my routine.

I used to use this every night after a cleansing balm/oil but now since I’m introducing a retinol on my PM skincare routine I have been hitting pause on using this. But I think I’m going to alternate on nights that I don’t have my retinol on.

Weleda Skin Food Light – After watching lots and lots of Katie Jane Hughes’s insta stories, I’m reminded to pick up Weleda Skin Food again. Have you ever tried Weleda Skin Food? OMG this cream is thicccccccck. It’s not easy to spread this cream around, but not the Light version, which is the one I bought. I use this all over my body, from my toes to my hairline. I love it as a body lotion, I love it as a night cream, and I love it as a hand cream. Too bad a tube only contains 30ml of product because I think I ran out after a week hahahaha.

Oh by the way I made a new Instagram account for beauty stuff. If you’d like to see what I have there, you can check out @spring93blog 🙂 Also I’m now looking for a new sunscreen to try, do you have any recommendation? Thank you for reading my blog. See you next time!
